3 There was a man of the Pharisees, named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews:
2 The same came to Jesus by night, and said unto him, Rabbi, we know that thou art a teacher come from God: for no man can do these miracles that thou doest, except God be with him.
3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
4 Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born?
5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
7 Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.
8 The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit.
9 Nicodemus answered and said unto him, How can these things be?
10 Jesus answered and said unto him, Art thou a master of Israel, and knowest not these things?
11 Verily, verily, I say unto thee, We speak that we do know, and testify that we have seen; and ye receive not our witness.
12 If I have told you earthly things, and ye believe not, how shall ye believe, if I tell you of heavenly things?
A while ago someone very dear to me passed away. When I heard the news I immediately wondered if the person was saved and right with God. Well, the person was a deacon and also I know the person was a good person and I set my mind on ease.
The same night this person died I went into my inner room and worshipped God. At 20H23 I was taken away by the Spirit and found myself in a very dark place I knew not. I then saw on my left side this person being guided by 2 but I did not look at the 2 to see what they look like. The first thing I noticed was that the person was not 60 years old but about in the 30’s, the next thing I noticed was that the person who died were dressed in brown clothes.
Then the person who died said something that shocked me into the depths of my soul:
“ Did you people not know that I am dead? “
I then thought by myself “ How can I know you are dead before someone called me and give me the news? “
I then saw them pass me and wanted to look where they were going and when I looked to the right I saw the gates of Hell opening and could not watch it anymore. The gates of Hell is the most horrific place I have ever seen.
I then realized with a shock what the person meant when saying “ Did you people not know that I am dead?
Spiritually dead! Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
How many of our dear family and friends died that we knew were dead long before they actually died in the flesh and never helped them?
If you are not born again in the Spirit then you will die in sin and will be heading to the gates of Hell when you pass through the thin veil. We need to be right with God at all times, we need to make sure our dear family and friends are right with God at all times.
But…
How can we know if someone is “dead”?
2 Corinthians 5:17 - Therefore if any man [be] in Christ, [he is] a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
When you are born again and baptized by the Holy Spirit then shall it be seen in the fruits, as now good tree will carry bad fruits and no bad tree can carry good fruits.
The day when you born again then you will start growing in the spirit and you will notice how the Holy Spirit will transform your hart and way of life. There is a path of holiness that will follow and we need to be holy for He is Holy. We need to repent daily for we were born in sin and will die in sin.
Many people are “dead” because the watchman in their churches are “dead”. Many churches rejects the working of the Holy Spirit in the church and by this many will enter through the gates of Hell. We need to be born again in water and in spirit, we need to live our life’s in a way that others can see we are a born again children of God.
We cant give our life's to Jesus and carry on on our old ways of life, we need to see the transformation in our lives and if you don't see it then you need to fall down on your knees and make time and seek God Almighty with all your hart and He Will help you.
The largest problem in our world today is time, we don't have time to seek the Lord as we should be doing, we need to buy the time, in other words, there is a price to pay and it is so worth it.
We need to be connected to God throughout the day and make time to meet with God every day. We need to make right with God and be right with God.
Acts 22:16 - And now why tarriest thou? arise, and be baptized, and wash away thy sins, calling on the name of the Lord.
There are many that does not believe in baptism in water and what if this is the only thing that might cause you to be lost for ever….?
We need to repent and the be baptised and how can a baby repent on the age when they are baptised ( sprinkled” ) . Believe in the Word of God and keep His commandments and you will live.
Reject man made religions, they are not from God and they are not God.
14As obedient children, do not conform to the passions of your former ignorance. 15But just as He who called you is holy, so be holy in all you do, 16for it is written: “Be holy, because I am holy.
17Since you call on a Father who judges each man’s work impartially, live your lives in reverent fear during your temporary stay on earth
1 Peter 1:16/17
That night I cried so much in front of the Lord because I did not tell my dear friend that he is dead and now my friend is lost forever, I let my friend slip into eternal Hell.
We need to be right with God at all times and be ready for the time is near when we will see Jesus coming on the clouds.
Fear God Almighty and seek Him always!
