Rejected Cross...
Armour of God...
The Armour Of God!
Turn back to Jesus and then it is so important to have on the whole armour of God so that you may be able to withstand in the evil day. It is extremely important because of the great deception coming to the earth as satan will use all he have to take as many of Gods people to hell with him.
Many times I have heard people saying that in the morning when they get dressed they put on the armour of God and so little people really knows what this mean to put on the armour of God.
When you receive Jesus as your Saviour then the Holy Spirit will come into your life and He will dress you with the armour of God, the Holy Spirit will correct you in every aspect till you have the full armour of God.
The armour of God is more a personality which we receive through the Holy Spirit and Him alone but what does the armour of God mean?
1.) Gird your waste with truth - Truth is a personality of God and when we gird our wastes with truth then it means not to lie at all, not even a little white lie. This is to be honest as well, honest in business, honest in marriage.
2.) Shod your feet with the preparation of the Gospel - A command from Jesus.
15 And He said to them, "Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation. 16"He who has believed and has been baptized shall be saved; but he who has disbelieved shall be condemned Mark 16:15
3.) Put on the breastplate of righteousness - Righteousness is a personality of God. Are we righteous, if we are with a friend and a mutual enemy comes bye and they have a fight, do we take our friends part even if we know that our friend was wrong or do we correct our friend? When we judge someone, do we do it fairly? We never should judge no one anyway. Be righteous in every move you make.
4.) Shield of faith - Our God is all about faith, if we only believe we can do anything. Faith is also a gift from God.
5.) The Helmet of Salvation - This is to know that you are saved through faith, this is the part where satan hits us the most and that is to constantly remind us of our sins of the past and he will continually try to tell you that because of this or that sin there is no salvation for you but he is a layer, stand in faith against him and tell him to go to hell where he belongs because Jesus died for our sins and we are no longer under the punishment of the law but we now are under the grace of the Cross.
6.) The sword of the Spirit - The Word of God. Know your bible.
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.John 1 v1
Then Pray - Pray without ceasing!
Having on the armour of God is more a personality that we receive and must practice it to become our personality and the Holy Spirit will correct us all the way to perfection through His Holy guidance. We also must be on our guard not to let down our guards because our enemy is watching us like a roaring lion.
Be of sober spirit, be on the alert. Your adversary, the devil, prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour. 1 Peter 5:8
10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. 11 Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. 12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age,[a] against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. 13 Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
14 Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, 15 and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; 16 above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. 17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God; 18 praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints— 19 and for me, that utterance may be given to me, that I may open my mouth boldly to make known the mystery of the gospel, 20 for which I am an ambassador in chains; that in it I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak.
